If I can make it here, then I can make it anywhere...

Our trip to New York was wonderful. We were able to do everything on our list. We went to the Met, ate at Au Bon Pain and 'Wichcraft, went to Chinatown (while they happened to be celebrating their New Year so it was way crazier than it usually is), hung out with Matt's family, including watching Diana's amazing recital, met up with my Uncle, and stayed in a beautiful hotel. If you want to see all our pics, I can e-mail you the kodak gallery album. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

While shopping around on 5th, I found one of my favorite Disney villains, Cruella!

We LOVED eating at Morimoto (The Iron Chef). He had amazing seafood and sushi dishes. By far our favorite restaurant in NYC. Thanks to my Uncle and his girlfriend Maria for taking us to this fab restaurant. This is the famous "water bottle" wall in the restaurant:

We also celebrated our first anniversary. Thanks to family and friends for the cards, calls, etc. We can't believe it's already been a year! It's weird not celebrating our "dating anniversaries" but I think it's better that we can celebrate wedding anniversaries because it seems more important.

This whole next week I'll be proctoring the ACTs and Michigan's version of the MEAPs. I've never proctored before, but I intend to add it to my resume! I hope everyone has a nice weekend. It's supposed to be in the 50's here so that will be a nice change!
